Entertainment is Therapeutic

Annie Medina joined the Carmel Hills family for therapy following a procedure on her back. "I needed a little rest and some exercise. Here, the therapists are full of energy and ready to help." With a stay just over 30 days and participation in our Express Recovery program, she was ready to return home. "The care at Carmel Hills is wonderful, and I’m glad to be heading home."

With nurses looking after her care and nurses aides providing assistance with daily living skills, Annie utilized our Express Recovery program. Meeting with therapists daily, her plan was customized with physical and occupational therapy to fit her immediate needs as well as preparation for returning home and any obstacles she’ll encounter there.

"I would recommend this facility to anyone needing physical therapy." Annie said with a smile, adding how much she enjoyed going to the rehab room. "Therapy was so much fun. They are always positive and very, very entertaining."
